The Spirit of Adventure Team

The single most important factor that dictates the success of your holiday is your instructor or guide. We believe our guides are the best there are; their experience and enthusiasm will ensure that you have an adventure holiday to remember. All of our adventure, activity holidays are led by an experienced and English speaking guides and in most countries we also use local guides and services.

John Diplock John is a respected climber and instructor within the southwest. He enjoys canoeing, back-packing and has a passion for climbing on the Cornish sea cliffs. He was a lead climber in two major Himalayan first ascents and has led many trekking groups in many areas of the world. These included expeditions to Pakistan, Greenland,  Alaska and of course the Himalaya. Although John has more "office duties" now, he can still be seen out and about running our SPA and WGL courses as well as our overseas trips.
