RIVER WYE KAYAK EXPEDITION
To paddle down these lovely rivers in single seat kayaks is a memorable experience. The Severn, Britain’s longest river, rises on the slopes of the Cambrian Mountains. Throughout most of it’s length it remains a natural waterway, wild and unspoilt. The River Wye meanders through some beautiful, rural countryside and both rivers are an ideal safe paddle for a first kayaking adventure. Early summer is possibly the best time of year to paddle the rivers with the cygnets and ducklings hiding in the shallows and the sand martins flitting across from bank to bank. The quality of water is generally good and the rivers contain nearly every native species of freshwater fish in the British Isles. Get away from the noise and bustle of modern living and go with the flow!!
These are fully supported trips with a vehicle to carry all our equipment and personal kit to the next campsite. We will have a 'base camp manager' to put up our tents and to cook our breakfast. We walk to the local Inns in the evening for our evening meal. These are 3 day trips but you may choose to leave on the Sunday evening after 2 days paddling.
The price includes full board accommodation.
