Devon Trekking Expedition

This New Adventure starts high up on the southern slopes of Dartmoor,  this vast open moorland. We shall then attempt to trek all the way to the Devon coastline. Finishing, we hope, at Wembury Beach where we shall touch the salt water to declare the mission completed!

We shall be camping, so this means carrying some of our kit. Our tents and cookers etc. will be transported for us to the next campsite. However this does mean when we arrive in camp we shall have to erect tents and prepare our much needed evening meal. Then heads down for a good sleep ready for the next days trek.

This is a real adventure and it will need some effort to make it a success, so if you think it is for you then be prepared for a fairly tough trek! You will also need to keep your wits about you regarding navigation. Most of the route follows the Erme Valley Walk so we need to keep a sharp look-out for the waymarked signs as well as plotting the route on the OS map.

A busy three day trek, but a rewarding challenge!
